Dr. Barb Kelleher was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba and has spent the last 25 years in Brandon practicing medicine.  She graduated from Neelin High School in Brandon and obtained her undergraduate degree at Brandon University before studying medicine at University of Saskatoon.

In 1991 Dr. Kelleher moved back to Brandon to work in general practice at the Western Medical Clinic.  In 2006 she opened her own clinic where she continued general practice as well as offering vein and various cosmetic procedures.  She closed the general practice in 2013 to devote more time to her growing laser, skin and vein business. Dr. Kelleher is extensively trained in all the procedures and products offered at her clinic, and she strives to ensure that her nurses, technicians, and her entire staff are equally knowledgeable and helpful.

She is a board certified member of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, a fellow and active member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, an active member of the American College of Phlebology, the Canadian College of Family Physicians, and the Canadian Medical Association.  Up until 2015 she was the Brandon Regional board member for Doctors Manitoba, the organization that represents all doctors in Manitoba. She is now the current President of Doctors Manitoba.

Dr. Kelleher's interests outside the office include gardening, grandparenting, baking and skiing.  She has also been accused of having a mild obsession with golf, which is shared by her husband and best friend Gallagher McGuinness.
